At WITS end….

Ever since I am at this Air Force job, one word that has been constantly coming to me is the word WITS Project.

One of the first few task on hand is to help my NSF with their WITS project and today kenna arrow another WITS project, but this one combine with the IT section, so at least not so bad. I was thinking, must be retribution since last time NS days always condemn and make fun of the WITS project thing, now all come back and haunt me.

Thinking of it, can’t help but there is a very strong urge to release a whole premutations of hokkien vulgurities to tag along with the WITS project.

Finally completed the last paper for year 2. Today was law paper. Not as bad as we thought, could have done better if I had really tried to get all the terminology into my head. But well, felt that will be able to clear the paper.  Anyway was doing some last minute revision with Robin and Adele in the library and I managed to win $10 from Adele over a dare which she dared me to do. Haa.. if only my monthly salary could come so easy.. That will make life so much more fun man.

At least now can take a good break and focus on my work, since I am like at the 2nd week of my new job. Need to get a hang of things fast and be on top of things (famous quote from my ex-colleague). Looking at the emails I printed out, I was rather lost for words…. Don’t know if I am still consider very inexperience in the working world, but when I read then I was like… Siao boh… Like that also can??!?! (My fav quote) and the expression was not from 1 email, but basically all 3 emails I printed out.

Well… I guess Life is like that 80-20 (Fav quote from my ex-director). Ok.. I know I am getting lame and senseless now. Must be the post-exam syndrome…

Year 2, Battle 6, Day 1

Yes… its the time of the year again. Exams Fever!!

Been busy preparing for today’s exam since last week. Finally the end of Year 2. 1 more year to go before I officially complete the Diploma Course from TP. As usual, this Semester there’s 2 paper. 1 Management Accounting which is today, and 1 Legal Aspect of Business on Thursday. So far am not so worried about the Law exam as I believe our group would have made it already for our course work components.

As for Management Accounting, with my 2nd test done rather badly, I think my overall grades would had been pulled down, so today’s exam is very critical, as I would need more than just a pass to pull up the overall grades. Looking at my revision past few days, I must say it has been good. Since I had managed to understand the few topics that might be tested on today’s exam.

So will be keeping my fingers crossed for tonight. Chiong Ah!!!

Case of the Missing Cai Fan Stall

November 4, 2007 at 9:42 pm | In Anything Whatever | 1 Comment

As usual meet up my classmate at our regular coffee-shop at Tampines for dinner before heading to school for lesson. So we were expecting the usual. As in proceed straight to the Mixed Veg Rice Stall to order our food. But on Thursday evening, we got a huge shock. The stall is gone!! and its just within a short span of 1 day, since we last patronized the stall on Tuesday. For a moment, Robin and I were like shocked and standing there freeze for a moment looking at the empty stall and asking each other, Hey! Wheres the Cai Fan Stall?

Still felt very puzzled so we asked the Fish Soup stall owner who was smoking next to our table what happened to the Cai Fan stall. According to him, due to poor business, the Cai Fan owner decide to close down the stall at this coffee-shop, so that is why the stall is gone now.

Well, I guess we will have to see if there will be a new Cai Fan stall to replace the old one. Somemore it will take us some time to get used to the food from the stall, since we were so used to the taste and cooking style from the old stall. Haa.. to think the stall can get both Robin and I to be their regular given the fact that both of us are rather particular about our food. Especially since you can’t really find Cai Fan Stall that serves dishes that are really nice nowadays.

Another good Cai Fan stall gone… we will have to see if the new one will be up to mark.
