Catch this show over on TV on Saturday. Had seen the thrillers on the Internet before but no chance to catch it on the big screen. So was very thrilled when I saw the thrillers on TV last week and was thinking when will it be showing on TV. So was happy to see that it was showing last Sat on TV. Make it a point to be home by then to catch it.

The show is about this old man reading a story to this old lady who is suffering from dementia. In actual fact the old man is ‘reading’ their love story to the old lady who is his wife. The touching part is where after the old man finished the story, the old lady start to have re-collection of her past, and she was thrilled to see her husband. It’s also at this part where she remembers that she is suffering from dementia, and asked her husband,

“How long did it last, the last time?”

“5 Minutes.” was the replied from the old man and they start dancing…. However in a moment, the old lady goes into her dementia state again and start to get hysterical seeing the old man in her room. At this point, you can really see the sad look in the old man’s eyes and the agony that he is so helpless in the whole issue.  Super touching!! Almost cried at this part.

A very nice and heartwarming show to watch. Especially with you love ones this valentine day!! Though I wasn’t watching it with my love one, except with my shadow. It does bring back memories of those days when I was attached and somehow we were also in an almost similar situation…. Haa… sentimental attack again.

The plot is simple but the acting is superb!! The Notebook, a movie you must watch this Valentine’s Day!
